"Day By Day" Rainbow Lapel Pins

Many of you have been asking how I’ve been coping during this two week wait…

I take things *day by day.* I try to focus on the present moment by not letting myself dwell too much on the past or the future. I build up my hope by looking for the tiniest bit of good or beauty throughout my day.

For me, rainbows have become a symbol of hope through my journey of pregnancy loss and grief. I created this lapel pin to not only symbolize my hope for a rainbow baby, but also my hope in something greater—that I am taken care of, even when it seems like everything is going wrong.

I’ve worn my pin to IVF appointments and every day since our transfer, and will continue to wear it through my rainbow baby pregnancy.

Beginning today, I’m offering these pins for purchase through my website to cultivate a community of hope and spread some rainbow magic. Proceeds will support the production of my Rainbow Baby Podcast (currently produced entirely by me!).

This rainbow lapel pin is displayed on a handmade card that includes illustrations by my sister,  Jamie Hill, and also an interior poem that I wrote .

It serves as a wearable reminder to take things day by day through pregnancy loss, trying to conceive, pregnancy after loss, or any other difficult situation.
