About
Hi, I’m Taylor.
One of my most sacred roles is being a mother—to Ellis, my firstborn son who was stillborn in May 2018, and to my two living children, my “rainbow babies.” Ellis’s death shattered and remade my world. Through the long work of grief, I’ve come to see how loss and love are not opposites but intertwined—how the story of death can also be one of creation.
I write, create, and pastor out of that intersection—where loss can spark imagination, where the spiritual and embodied meet, where beauty persists. My work explores themes of belonging, transformation, and what it means to be human in a world still becoming. With a background in the arts, I approach both writing and ministry as acts of creative attention—ways of seeing and shaping the sacred in ordinary life. I’m currently completing my first book, a memoir about grief and mystical hope.
I help lead Sunset Ridge Church & Collective, a Christian community in San Antonio cultivating spaces of welcome, belonging, and creativity. My work as an artist, educator, writer, and pastor continues to shape how I hold space for others’ stories—and how I tell my own.
This website began as the home for The Rainbow Baby Podcast and my early reflections on life after loss. It remains a growing archive of that journey—a record of love, learning, and becoming. I’m less interested in “creating content” and more in cultivating connection. I hope this space feels like an open window, where you can breathe, remember, and rest.
